  • Manage full scope of construction from ground-breaking to permit completion

  • Develop contract scopes and solicit proposals from trade partners

Katerra Inc. was an international general contracting company focusing on pre-assembled construction and mass timber technology. Typical developments in the USA were 200-unit mid-rise structures utilizing concrete, steel, and mass timber construction. The combined value of project workload was $150M.

Assistant Project Manager

Manage general contractors for civil construction projects on behalf of municipal clients. Roles included Inspector, Documentation Control Specialist, Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager.  Achieved consensus among many project stakeholders including federal agencies (Army Corps, Federal Highway Administration,) state-level authorities (Dept of Ecology, WSDOT), public and private utilities (Seattle City Light, Comcast, local water districts), and municipal clients.
